F19 Europa Trophy

Europa Trophy is a recently founded bandy tournament arranged by Stockholm-based club GT/76 IK, intended to give women's U19 teams an opportunity to play games of high quality with an international flavor. Our hope is that countries outside of the Swedish border choose to participate in Europa Trophy.

The tournament starts with a group stage consisting of two, three or four groups, with each group containing three or four teams depending on the number of participating teams. The two best placed teams in each group advance to the playoffs which start with the quarterfinals. The winners of the quarterfinals proceed to the semifinals. The semifinal winners meet in the final and the losers play for the bronze in the bronze game.

Teams will be given access to the locker rooms approximately one and a half hours before gametime until one hour after the game has ended, allowing every team a chance to have proper preparation before their games.

The first game is scheduled to start on Saturday morning. We will attempt to schedule teams traveling from outside of Stockholm later during the day on Saturday, but it is recommended that teams arrive on early on Saturday.

Costs

Each team must pay a registration fee of 3500 kronor to be able to participate in the tournament. Teams may be required to pay an additional fee per person if the tournament is played during two days, the additional fee would be for accommodation and possibly for meals. If necessary, we may also help out with other things that may be needed, such as transportation.

Dispensations

Dispensation applications are to be sent to the tournament administration no later than two weeks before the start of the tournament. Granted dispensations will be published and the tournament administration reserve the right to limit the amount of over-aged players on the ice at the same time.
