Rules & Regulations

Where nothing else is mentioned, we play by the rules of SvFF and FIFA .

Games
All games is played 2 x 25 minutes with 3 minutes break in half time and the ball size 5.

Group matches will be played in 3 pools of 4 teams each. In the pool matches a victory gives 3 points and a draw 1 point. Top 8 teams advance to A qualificationround (quarter finals) for A- playoff or B-play off for the places 1-4 or 5-9. Bottom 4 will play C-play off for position 9-12.

Ranking of the teams in the groups are determined under the following rules/priority: 1) Group placement 2) Most points 3) Best goal difference 4) Most goals scored 5) Number of victories 6) Result of match between those teams 7) Penalty kicks (3) as below.

The playoffs will be played by the cup system. If the score is a draw after the end of regular time, the match is settled by a penalty shoot-out. Penalty shoot-out – 3 kicks to each team – then 1 kick at a time, by a new player. Only players playing on the field at the end of the match can take part in the shoot-out.

In the final there will be a 1x10 min golden goal followed by a penalty shoot-out as above.

Yellow and Red cards
Warning (yellow card) is not giving a suspension, a warning more to the same player, means red card and suspension for the rest of the game plus the next game.

A sending off (direct red card) with or without prior warning leads to suspension in the (at least) following game in the tournament. In case of a major rule violation the referee will consult the tournament officials which can lead to suspension of more games or the rest of the tournament.


IMPORTANT NOTE: If a player who is suspended is participating in a match, the team automatically loses the match 3-0.

Meeting time
The teams shall be present at the field 10 minutes before kick-off.

Protests
All protests must be handed to a Tournament Official a maximum of 15 minutes after the end of the match. The protest fee is €100 which will be returned if the protest is sustained. No protests against referees will be accepted.

Substitutions
Substitutions shall be made by consulting the referee during a break in the match and always by the zone of the benches. A substituted player may re-enter the match.
