History
The first time the tournament was played was in a completely different form and with a different name. BP Ica Cup was played at Gärdet in 1992 and was an initiative between BP and ICA. At the time, the tournament was open to all teams and the majority of the teams that participated came from Stockholm or Gothenburg. From 2006, the tournament has become an elite tournament where you invite good teams from Europe. Players who have played the tournament and today is professional players are Ludvig Augustinsson (FCK) Jesper Karlström (DIF) Simon Tibbling (FC Groningen).
