Number of teams and number of matches

8 teams divided in two groups.
Each team plays three group stage matches and one placement match. A total of 4 matches and 2 hours 40 minutes playing time.

The placement matches will be that the winners of each group play the final match, the runners up in each group play for third place etc.

Conditions

• 9 players in each team including goalkeeper.
• Reduced playing surface
• 72 x 40 meters, boards along the long sides.
• Goal cage with lowered bar.
• Otherwise normal rules such as for offside and corner shots.

Playing time
2 x 20 minutes with 5 min half time. Ice care after every third game.

Dressing room
Each team has its own dressing room throughout the tournament.

Referees
One head referee and 2 assistant youth referees.
