Competition rules

In general, the Swedish Floorball Federation rules are used with an exception regarding game time as described below.

Group game

Each team plays 3 group games. The game time is 2 x 15 minutes. Note that the time is only stopped on a triple signal from the referee except during the last minute of the game where the time is stopped also for goals, penalties and time-outs.

Playoff games

After the group games each team plays one playoff game according to the standing after the group games (#5 - #6, #3 - #4 and #1 - #2).

Each playoff game is played 2 x 20 minutes. The time is stopped in the case of penalties, goals, time-outs and on a triple sound. During the last three minutes, the time is also stopped after any situation where the ball is not considered to be in play.

If the result is tie after full time, the teams play 5 minutes extra, and the team that scores first wins (sudden-death). During the sudden-death period, time is stopped in case of penalties, time-outs or triple signal from the referee.

If the game still is a tie, a best-of-three penalty shoot-out competition with sudden death (if scores are level after three strokes) is used until one team wins.

Referees

Referees are appoint by Norrbottens Innebandyförbund.
