Food and accommodation:
The cup offers accommodation in classrooms and full board. All meals served at a lunch restaurant near the soccer fields. Of course, the teams who arranged other accomendation can also eat there. The accommodation is within walking distance of the fields, but a good tip is to rent bicycles to the team. Bike is a great way to get around in Visby.
Waterland:
The last game day gives us room for the teams to visit Kneippbyn waterpark, and to spend the evening with the other teams.
Traveling to Gotland:
The ferries to and from the island go between Visby and the 3 mainland ports Oskarshamn, Västervik and Nynäshamn. During the summer there is a lot of pressure on the boat traffic, but if you book early and through the special booking channel Idrottsresor, you will get good places and great prices on your boat trip.
The alternative is flights to Visby. During the summer months, a number of companies flies directly to the island, from several different locations on the mainland.
Whatever takes you here, we will help you with your luggage between the port terminal and your accommodation. We also have limited possibilities for passenger transport to and from the airport.
Bring your family and friends.
Besides that Gotland is a great opportunity for playing soccer, it is also an island made for holiday. Bring your family and friends and enjoy beautiful sandy beaches and exciting entertainment. The same day as the cup ends, the island begins its famed medieval week. Stay a few days extra and enjoy the summer at Gotland.
